Located at the intersection of Berkshire Trail and Fairgrounds Road this historic structure was most likely built in the 1930's for fruit storage. It has had may uses over the years and most recently housed the Post Office, Beauty Shop, Video Store and Restaurant. Since the building suffered water damage in approximately 2008 it has been vacant. Most of the water damaged material has been removed and the building appears structurally sound. The first floor is 6400 square feet and there is a large unfinished 2nd floor were residential apartments were planned. There is a large parking area along the Berkshire Trail frontage that is also accessible from Fairgrounds Road. The south end of the lot furthest from the building is a wetland.
